Job Overview

A Behaviour Support Practitioner is sought to support individuals with disabilities, promoting independence and inclusion.


This role offers a dynamic environment where you will work in diverse settings, from homes and schools to community centres, utilizing assessment and intervention skills to achieve goals and maximize funding.


You will build meaningful relationships with participants and their supports, developing and implementing Behaviour Support Plans with function-based strategies, and conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments.


To be successful, you will have a relevant tertiary qualification, such as Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Social Work, or Nursing, and registration with relevant bodies.


Additionally, you will need strong communication skills, a positive and flexible approach, and a commitment to personal and professional growth.
