Job Title: Service Coordinator

This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a service, ensuring that all Participant support, compliance & documentation requirements are met. The Service Coordinator will be accountable for supervising admin staff and support workers to ensure that all operations align with the NDIS standards and values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure overall performance by providing excellent customer service and efficient work allocation
  • Supervise admin staff and support workers to ensure alignment with NDIS standards and values
  • Coordinate administrative tasks, including progress notes, assessments, and communication books
  • Provide leadership and supervision to Support Workers and admin staff
  • Develop Care plans and risk assessment profiles for participants

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or extensive experience in working in the NDIS or disability area
  • Current Worker Screening approval
  • Driver's license
  • Good computer skills (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint)

Skills:

  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, and able to multitask
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office suite of programs and other computer systems for record-keeping
