About Royal Flying Doctor Service South Australia / Northern Territory:

Remote Mental Health Services

As a skilled mental health professional, you will be responsible for delivering evidence-based mental health interventions to clients in remote communities. You will utilise your experience in mental health nursing to implement psychological therapies and support individuals with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • You will work closely with government agencies and other human service providers to develop and promote mental health services.
  • You will provide telephone, telehealth, and face-to-face consulting services to clients in need of mental health support.

In this role, you will be a vital resource to remote communities, ensuring access to mental health and emotional wellbeing services. You will also have opportunities to collaborate with our team and contribute to the development of innovative mental health programs.

Requirements:
  • Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Recognised qualification in mental health nursing equivalent to a Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing.
  • Experience in delivering mental health interventions in line with National Standards for Mental Health Services.
