Job Description

  • Ambitious Secondary Teachers are invited to apply for a leadership role in our Science department.

We are seeking an exceptional educator to lead the development of our science curriculum and foster a collaborative learning environment. As a key member of our teaching team, you will play a vital role in driving academic excellence and inspiring students to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective science curricula that cater to diverse learner needs.
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues in delivering high-quality teaching practices.
  • Collaborate with school leaders to design and implement whole-school initiatives that promote student success.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in science education and integrate these into teaching programs.
  • Promote a culture of innovation, creativity, and critical thinking within the Science department.

Selection Criteria:

  • Candidates must possess a strong commitment to Christian Education and a personal faith statement aligned with our school's values.
  • A demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents is essential.
  • Proven experience in educational leadership, including curriculum development and staff coaching.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to provide evidence of successful teaching practices and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
