Lead Educator of Inclusive Learning Environments

The successful candidate will lead a dynamic team to deliver exceptional educational outcomes for students with diverse needs.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator to leverage their expertise in curriculum design, student welfare, and educational leadership to drive improvement in teaching, learning, and classroom practice.

A key focus of this role will be to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams, fostering a collaborative staff culture that promotes whole-school strategic directions and Department of Education policies.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement future-focused teaching and learning programs that enhance student learning, engagement, and support the wellbeing of students within a special education setting.
  • Collaborate with teachers to design and implement individualised support strategies for students with specific additional learning needs.
  • Liaise with outside agencies to develop and implement behaviour, wellbeing, and cultural supports for students.

Requirements:

  • Approval to teach Special education with proven educational leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated capacity to lead teachers in curriculum design, assessment, and student welfare.
  • Educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and engage students, staff, and parents.
