We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Educator/2IC to join our team.
Job Description
This role is ideal for an individual who can develop and implement inspiring programs that cater to the needs and interests of children aged 5-12 years. The successful applicant will play a vital role in providing exceptional before care, after care, and vacation care services.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop engaging activities for small and large groups.
- Inspire educators to train in best practice programming and implementation.
- Nurture effective communication with staff and families.
- Drive quality improvement processes in partnership with Coordinators and Quality Leader.
- Assume responsibility for the day-to-day running of the service in the absence of the coordinator.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills with a positive approach to interactions.
- Sound knowledge of National Quality Standards (NQS) and Curriculum Framework.
- Current First Aid qualification and Child Protection certificate.
