Job Title: Early Childhood Educator Traineeship

As an entry-level trainee, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the early childhood education sector. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families.

The successful candidate will be working across two years, providing quality care, education and support to children. You will also receive paid study to achieve a nationally recognised Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. The following duties are involved in this role:
  • Prepare and implement programs for children and groups relative to curriculum and developmental abilities.
  • Complete observation and progress records.
  • Assist the team to create a stimulating and encouraging environment.
  • Liaise with families on a day-to-day basis.
  • Shadow experienced staff in providing individualised support to children.
  • Provide feedback with care and empathy.


To be successful in this role, you should have a passion for childhood education, a desire to make a difference and support children's lives, and the ability to build rapport with a variety of groups including children and families. You should also thrive working under pressure, have strong organisational skills and be able to multitask and think on your feet.

To be eligible for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and characteristics:
  • National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain).
  • Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain).
  • White Card (or willing to obtain).
