Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our mobile plant maintenance operations. This is a site-based role offering long-term, secure work in a high-performing team.

The successful candidate will take ownership of the maintenance department and drive results across heavy plant and equipment. Key responsibilities include leading a team of trades, overseeing daily operations, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and implementing maintenance strategies.

A minimum of 5 years' post-trade experience in mobile equipment maintenance - mining & civil, along with a strong working knowledge of Hitachi, Komatsu, and Epiroc, is essential for this position. The ideal candidate will possess solid technical ability, diagnostics, planning, problem-solving skills, and confident communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of trades including plant mechanics, auto electricians, and boilermakers.
  • Oversee daily operations of the maintenance department.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on machine performance, downtime, and scheduling.
  • Implement maintenance strategies, safety protocols, and parts ordering.
  • Maintain a strong safety-first culture across all site activities.
  • Deliver efficient labor utilization and support field diagnostics and repair.
Requirements:
  • Heavy Diesel Trade Qualified (AUS/NZ recognized).
  • Minimum 5 years' post-trade experience.
  • Proven background in mobile equipment maintenance - mining & civil.
  • Strong working knowledge of Hitachi, Komatsu, and Epiroc.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to lead and liaise across all levels.
  • Solid technical ability - diagnostics, planning, problem-solving.
