**Operator of Heavy Plant**: Newlands Civil Construction is seeking a highly skilled individual to operate heavy plant equipment. This opportunity has arisen due to continued growth in the civil construction sector.

As an Operator of Heavy Plant, you will be responsible for ensuring safe operation of plant and equipment at all times and within the guidelines of the project's safe operating procedures.

You will have the following responsibilities:

  • Conduct machinery and truck daily pre-starts
  • Operate equipment in a safe manner

To be considered for this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

Essential Requirements:

  • Non-Slewing Mobile Crane Licence (Franna Licence)
  • Trenching and earthworks experience
  • HR / MR Licence, preferable but not essential
  • Other Machine Tickets, preferable but not essential
  • Civil Experience
  • Construction White Card

The successful candidate will have a positive approach and a willingness to take initiative. Shortlisting will commence immediately for this position.
