Job Title: Cloud Operations Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Manage cloud infrastructure deployment, upgrades, and lifecycle for hosted SAP products.
  • Develop scripts and assist in automated deployment processes.
  • Design and deploy key SaaS Applications and Management elements.
  • Configure tools to monitor applications, security, and auditing.
  • Provide extensive troubleshooting and technical expertise in identifying issues impacting service delivery.
  • Offer comprehensive troubleshooting and recommend fixes for application issues, including batch jobs, data stores, application functionality, management layers, and load balancing.
  • Schedule, plan, and implement new systems.
  • Support 24/7 operations as an application SME, including on-call rotation duties.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience implementing or supporting technical infrastructure on Cloud at a corporate level or business application operations background.
  • AWS, Azure, and/or GCP experience is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Ansible, Terraform, CI/CD tools, and GIT.
  • Experience with Kubernetes environments is advantageous.
  • Working knowledge of Directory services.
  • Strong analytical research and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A can-do attitude and strong sense of ownership end-to-end.
  • Support for troubleshooting and system performance initiatives.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotation schedule for planned maintenance.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with AWS Route 53, EC2, S3, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, RDS, IAM, ACM, KMS, VPC.
  • Thorough understanding of infrastructure firewalls, load balancers, storage, monitoring, security, IAM, etc., and experience with orchestration to operate a cloud solution.
