Appian Solution Architect Position

Job Summary:

Our organization is seeking an experienced Appian solution architect to design, lead the delivery of Appian-based business process solutions.

This role will be critical in driving end-to-end solution design, mentoring team members, and ensuring that all applications align with business goals, technical standards, and Appian best practices.

  • Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of Appian BPM applications.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, SMEs, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Appian solutions.
  • Define technical architecture, integration design, and security layers of Appian applications.
  • Guide a team of Appian developers and ensure high-quality code delivery.
  • Conduct peer reviews, troubleshoot issues, and ensure performance optimization.
  • Create technical documentation, including solution architecture diagrams, data flow diagrams, and deployment plans.
  • Manage and plan Appian releases and environments (Dev, QA, Prod).
  • Work closely with DevOps and infrastructure teams for seamless deployment.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 12 years of experience in software development.

Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in Appian BPM including Sites, Records, Reports, Process Models, Expression Rules, and Web APIs.

Experience with Appian plug-ins, integration with REST/SOAP services, databases, and external systems.

Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.

Knowledge of application security, scalability, and performance tuning.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to lead technical discussions with stakeholders and drive consensus.
