Nurse Specialist

Mater Hospital Brisbane's Emergency Department is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join their team in a casual on-call capacity.
The department provides comprehensive emergency services for adult patients, staffed by experienced emergency doctors, nurses, and training registrars. The team cares for adolescents and adults with a range of acute illnesses and injuries, including medical, surgical, oncology, orthopaedics, and gynaecological emergencies.
Key Responsibilities- Achieve optimal patient outcomes through the continuum of care
- Demonstrate exceptional clinical expertise and knowledge of procedures and patient management
- Implement strategies to ensure quality and risk management in service provision
- Work collaboratively with the nursing team to provide exceptional care
- Maintain current knowledge and skills for continued professional growth
- AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 2 years postgraduate experience in an Emergency setting
- Previous experience in emergency nursing is highly regarded
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Outstanding communication and time management skills
