Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Contracts Administrator to join our team at Moec Pty Ltd. As a key member of our administration team, you will be responsible for managing contracts, coordinating project administration, and ensuring the smooth execution of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management:
    • Review, analyze, and negotiate contract terms and variations with clients and project managers.
    • Ensure all variations are legally binding and meet project requirements.
    • Manage contract amendments, budgets, and variations effectively.
    • Maintain a comprehensive contract register and document control system.
  • Project Administration:
    • Coordinate and facilitate communication between project stakeholders (clients, architects, subcontractors).
    • Manage and track project schedules, budgets, and milestones.
    • Generate and distribute reports on project progress and contract compliance.
    • Analyze and evaluate potential and existing contract claims.
    • Work collaboratively with project managers to mitigate risks and minimize contractual disputes.
    • Ensure timely and accurate processing of change orders and claims according to contract terms.
  • Closeout & Documentation:
    • Facilitate the finalization of contracts, including final inspections, handover processes, and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction contracts administration.
  • Strong understanding of construction contract law, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and construction management software (e.g., Primavera, Procore).
  • Excellent project management, communication, and negotiation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Meticulous attention to detail and a highly organized work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in the Mining or Gas Gathering sector.
  • Experience with project management methodologies.
  • Excellent Negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in additional industry-specific software programs.
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles as applied to contracts.

Additional Requirements:

  • A current driver's license and white card.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and follow safety procedures.
  • Availability to start work in the next 2-4 weeks and pass a pre-employment medical.
  • Roster: 18 days on, 10 days off (paid travel on day 1 and day 10 of RnR). Vehicle provided.
