Job Overview

Menzies Aviation is a leading provider of time-critical logistics services in the global aviation industry.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training Coordinator to join our team in Melbourne, Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-level training to employees on ramp operations, including health, safety, and security obligations.

Main Accountabilities

  • Coordinate and conduct induction training for new employees on safety and security, WHS, customer service, and client airline standards.
  • Conduct and coordinate classroom & on-the-job training and familiarizations for all domestic and international functions.
  • Maintain annual training plans, training records, and matrices to ensure compliance.
  • Oversee assessments and performance standards, produce training manuals/materials/training courses and programs.
  • Evaluate staff progress, performance, and development in conjunction with supervisors.
  • Compile performance statistics.
  • Complete Menzies corporate training and baggage training.
  • Maintain a strong safety culture within the team, driving OH&S and security awareness and compliance.
  • Perform various administrative and reporting duties.
  • Coordinate training and signing off of ramp staff on equipment, processes, and ground handling systems.
  • Make recommendations on all aspects of the operation to improve performance and productivity.
  • Complete training audits and training needs analysis within the department.

Key Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in the aviation industry.
  • Prior training experience is an advantage.
  • Able to demonstrate exceptional communication skills, both verbally and in writing, as well as ability to relate to diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Hold A320/1 knowledge.
  • Sound computer and word processing skills to create and update training materials, maintain records, and manage databases.
