Job Description:

As a key member of our team, the Systems Controller will be responsible for monitoring and managing the water and sewer systems in real-time. This includes controlling system operations to minimize the impact of failures, prioritizing work orders, and providing technical expertise to field staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor system availability, configuration, and performance of the Water and Sewer systems in real time.
  • Proactively control systems operations to minimize the impact of system failures.
  • Prioritize and triage work orders for the dispatch of work crews.
  • Provide technical expertise and advice to field staff as required.
About The Role:
  • This is an exciting opportunity to utilize your knowledge of water and sewer networks in a dynamic environment.
  • We are seeking a new Systems Controller who can contribute to the operation of the local community's water and sewer system.
Requirements:
  • Certificate IV qualification in Engineering or related field OR demonstrated solid contemporary experience in water and/or sewage network management within water and sewer disciplines or experience in a similar role.
  • Current Class C Drivers Licence.
  • Experience and understanding of the operational management of a distrusted network of assets.
  • Experience and understanding of water, wastewater, and networks.
  • Ability to effectively utilize information technology, including computerized control & monitoring systems (e.g. SCADA) and geographical information systems.
