Exciting Water Operations Role

This is an exciting opportunity to utilise your knowledge of water and sewer networks in our operations centre.

  • Contribute to the operation of community water and sewer systems
  • Work in a dynamic team focused on delivering customer satisfaction
  • Monitor system availability, configuration and performance of water and sewer systems in real time

Shifts involve day and night shifts to cover a 24/7 roster, Monday to Sunday.

About The Position

You will be responsible for proactively controlling operational processes to minimise system failure impacts. In addition, you will prioritise and triage work orders for field crew dispatch, and provide technical expertise and advice as required.

Requirements
  • Certificate IV qualification in Engineering or related field OR demonstrated solid contemporary experience in water and/or sewage network management within water and sewer disciplines or similar roles
  • Current Class C Drivers Licence
  • Experience and understanding of operational asset management
  • Experience and understanding of water, wastewater and networks
  • Ability to effectively utilise IT, including computerised control & monitoring systems (e.g. SCADA) and geographical information systems

Additional Information
  • The salary range for this position is up to $92.9k per year. We offer progression opportunities for employees to progress up to the maximum salary of $107.7k based on assessment of skills and performance + shift penalties as per Award + 12% superannuation
  • We have a permanent full-time role available
