Procurement Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Lead to join our Store Development team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced environment, driving procurement strategy and leading end-to-end procurement for all store projects.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in sourcing from local, Chinese & international markets, ideally within a retail or shop fit-out environment. They will also possess strong commercial acumen, budgeting skills, and negotiation expertise.

Beyond the core responsibilities, this role offers opportunities for growth and development, as we continue to expand our store network across Australia and New Zealand. You will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team, where you will be challenged and supported to achieve personal and business goals.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver a procurement strategy aligned with our store development roadmap
  • Lead end-to-end procurement for all store projects, from capital expenditure to fit-out services and sundry goods
  • Establish preferred supplier panels and secure competitive pricing and commercial terms
  • Work closely with Store Development and Facilities to forecast needs and align sourcing plans
  • Manage RFQs, tender processes, contract negotiations, and procurement governance
  • Oversee supplier performance, holding vendors to service levels and agreed KPIs
  • Analyse market trends and pricing shifts to support smarter procurement decisions
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in procurement, supply chain, and/or contract management roles
  • Experience in sourcing from local, Chinese & international markets
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced environment (retail/shop fit out or construction)
  • Strong commercial acumen, budgeting skills, and negotiation expertise
  • Deep knowledge of procurement legislation and ethical sourcing principles
  • Exposure to ERP or procurement platforms
  • A degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain or a related discipline
