Claims Assistant
About the Role:This role provides vital administrative support to Case Managers in a fast-paced environment focused on proactive claim management.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in administration and office support or extensive customer service experience, along with competent use of MS Word and Excel. High-level typing accuracy is also essential.
- Administrative Support: Provide timely and effective assistance to Case Managers in managing worker's compensation claims.
- Claim Administration: Process and administer claims, sort mail and file documents as requested.
- Organizational Skills: Coordinate medical appointments, investigations, police reports, and interpreter services.
- Customer Service: Handle basic phone enquiries regarding unpaid accounts and changing medical appointments.
- Financial Management: Ensure invoices and payments comply with GST/ITC guidelines.
- Reimbursement Processing: Process invoices and third-party or worker reimbursements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Case Managers in claim administration.
- Process and administer claims.
- Coordinate medical appointments and other related tasks.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide timely responses.
- Manage financial transactions and ensure compliance with relevant guidelines.
- Process reimbursements for workers and third-party providers.

About You:
- Previous experience in administration and office support or extensive customer service experience.
