Inventory Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Management Specialist to support our warehousing operation at Banksmeadow NSW.

This is a challenging role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Coordinating inventory processes, systems, and reporting to ensure accurate and efficient management of inventory levels.
  • Liaising with customers on inventory issues, reporting, and adjustments to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Identifying discrepancies, conducting investigations, and preparing reports to optimize inventory management practices.
  • Managing annual cyclical and/or ad-hoc stocktaking processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Analysing inventory velocity to identify fast- and slow-moving stock and making recommendations for optimization.
  • Planning for and implementing new inventory into the operation to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing/operating inventory systems, procedures, and practices. Strong MS Excel skills are also required to populate, manipulate, and understand data.

Additionally, effective communication, problem-solving, and numeracy skills are essential for success in this role.
