Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate professional to join our team as a Rehabilitation Consultant. As a key member of our Melbourne New Employment Services team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with their return to work journey.

In this challenging and rewarding position, you will be responsible for providing vocational counselling and assessment services to help clients achieve their goals. You will work closely with our clients, stakeholders, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of services.

To succeed in this role, you will require strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to think critically and solve problems. You will also need to be flexible and adaptable, with a passion for delivering high-quality services that meet the needs of our clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A relevant Allied Health qualification, such as Occupational Therapy, Psychology or Social Work
  • Full Professional Registration/Membership/Accreditation with AHPRA, ASORC, ESSA, AASW or other suitable governing body
  • Experience in Occupational/Vocational Rehabilitation (highly regarded)
  • The ability to proactively manage a caseload and achieve outstanding results for clients and customers
  • A passion for injury prevention, return to work, and the health benefits of employment
