Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting thorough analyses of complex data to draw evidence-based conclusions on competition issues.
  • Developing and implementing strategic plans for the conduct of investigations and projects.
  • Identifying and recommending suitable resolutions for identified actions, changing market behaviors, activities, and issues.
  • Preparing litigation briefs and obtaining witness statements for the Federal Court.
  • Leading the professional development of junior team members and contributing to leadership within the branch.
About You
  • You hold tertiary qualifications in economics, law, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of competition provisions in relevant legislation.
  • Experience leading and managing investigations into complex matters, ensuring adherence to established investigative principles.
  • Ability to undertake objective analysis, critically assess information, and support evidence-based decision making.
  • Exceptional written communication skills, with experience in producing high-quality documentation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster successful stakeholder relationships.
