Senior Competition Lead

Lead and supervise teams on investigations, competition analysis, and assist with litigation related to anti-competitive conduct. Develop strategic plans for the conduct of investigations and/or projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Leading teams to identify and analyse relevant information to draw evidence-based conclusions on competition issues.
- Developing and implementing strategies for complex matters and/or competition law issues in accordance with established investigative principles.
- Ensuring high-quality documentation, including staff papers, notices, correspondence, reports, minutes, and briefs.
About You:
- Tertiary qualifications in economics, law, or similar fields.
- A strong understanding of the competition provisions of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 and other relevant legislation.
- Experience leading and managing investigations into complex matters and/or competition law issues in accordance with developed plans.
- Demonstrated ability to undertake objective, systematic analysis to draw accurate conclusions, critically assess, and support evidence-based decision making.
- Strong written drafting skills and interpersonal and communication skills.
