Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead our Real Estate Transactions/Acquisitions team in Australia. As a seasoned executive, you will be responsible for managing direct real estate transactions and asset management in the country.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Management: Oversee and manage the direct real estate transactions and asset management team in Australia
  • Transaction Lifecycle: Lead on the full transaction life-cycle, including sourcing acquisitions, underwriting, evaluating agreements, negotiating terms, coordinating due diligence, and closing deals
  • Capital Markets: Execute all capital market activity related to financing assets in accordance with terms required by portfolio managers
  • Property Dispositions: Execute property dispositions in line with guidance from portfolio managers of each investment

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in real estate transactions and asset management
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with experience in leading high-performing teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex information and make informed decisions
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and negotiate agreements
  • Knowledge of Australian real estate laws and regulations
