
APAC Product Portfolio Specialist

Invacare is a global organization that makes a real difference in people's lives by providing mobility and medical equipment. We are on the hunt for a Product Specialist to become our resident expert for our APAC product portfolio.
This role involves working closely with our Commercial, Technical Services, Education, and Customer Service teams to ensure our products shine in market. Your mission is to enhance commercial and internal capability, drive customer satisfaction, and support our teams with your in-depth product knowledge.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining an in-depth understanding of the features, benefits, and specifications of the products in the Invacare APAC product portfolio.
- Acting as the subject matter expert for Invacare's product range across portfolios to our internal teams and customers.
- Developing learning plans and working with our Account Managers to deliver tailored product training that educates, excites, and empowers.
- Mentoring our internal teams to become confident trainers themselves.
- Gathering, identifying, and analyzing feedback and trends to ensure we are keeping abreast with market opportunities.
- Supporting our teams with new product launches, tenders, and contracts, project work, and more.
We are looking for someone with an open mindset who has a passion for and experience in gathering insights, teaching, mentoring, developing, and delivering outputs that will help to boost the understanding and benefits of our products.
The ideal candidate will bring:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Product Specialist or Trainer or in Marketing (experience as an OT or PT highly regarded but not essential).
- Effective and engaging communication skills – both written and verbal.
- The ability to self-manage and organize your workload effectively to meet goals.
- Excellent group facilitation skills.
- Innovative and flexible problem-solving approaches.
- Knowledge of and proven performance in adult teaching and learning principles.
- Proven aptitude in using a wide variety of systems.
- An ability to translate technical information into an easy-to-understand language.
This role works cross-functionally across our Australian and New Zealand locations (up to 25% travel away from home) and works closely with our team in Europe. It is essential that the successful candidate is someone who can commit to traveling as and when required and can be flexible in their working hours at times to accommodate different time zones.
