The role of a supervisor in our road maintenance projects is critical to success. As a hands-on leader, you will manage site setup, crew coordination, safety checks, and delivery standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate day-to-day jobs across metro and regional works.
  • Lead and mentor crew members to deliver high-quality work.
  • Manage plant, equipment, materials, and logistics for job readiness.
  • Conduct pre-starts, toolbox talks, and safety checks.
  • Liaise with clients, councils, and contractors to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Report on job progress, hazards, and operational performance.
  • Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in crack seal operations or road maintenance is essential.
  • Demonstrated leadership or crew-leading experience is required.
  • A solid understanding of WHS practices and pre-start/site safety is necessary.
  • Ability to coordinate plant, equipment, and materials effectively is crucial.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills are essential.
  • A can-do attitude, attention to detail, and pride in a job well done are valued.
  • MR/HR licence and traffic control tickets are highly regarded.
  • Commitment to fairness, teamwork, and continuous improvement is expected.
