Job Title: Road Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description:

Road maintenance supervisors play a vital role in ensuring the seamless execution of construction projects. As a key team member, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction, including managing sub-contractors, monitoring health and safety protocols, and maintaining accurate records of production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage construction works, including self-performing elements and supervising sub-contractors to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Monitor and control health and safety protocols to guarantee compliance with regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of production and provide regular reports on project progress to stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and communicate regularly with the project manager to ensure clear communication and effective project delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a production-related role, preferably from a trade or operator background.
  • Previous work history within the roading network on smaller to medium-scale project sizes.
  • Able to manage own section of works or serve as a leading hand, with a strong understanding of commercial constraints and ability to make informed decisions.
  • Experience directing and managing labor forces to achieve desired outcomes while considering commercial constraints and budget.
  • Hands-on experience with various elements found in typical road corridors.
