Sydney Sommelier Position

We are seeking an experienced Sommelier to join our team at Aria, a renowned fine dining restaurant in Sydney. As a Sommelier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional wine recommendations to our guests and contributing to the overall success of our wine program.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Sommelier who is passionate about delivering outstanding service and knowledge to our customers. You will work closely with our Executive Chef and other hospitality professionals to ensure that every guest has a memorable dining experience.

Responsibilities
  • Selecting and managing our wine list to meet the high standards of our restaurant
  • Providing expert wine advice and recommendations to guests
  • Contributing to the development of our wine program and events
  • Maintaining accurate records and inventory control
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience as a Sommelier in a fine dining environment
  • Excellent knowledge of wine and its production
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service
