We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Operations Specialist to join our team.
About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for someone who has experience in marine operations and wants to take their career to the next level. As a Marine Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the Master and Officers in their areas of responsibility.
You will assist with the investigation of accidents, incidents, and near misses. Additionally, you will conduct repairs and maintenance across the ship, load, unload, refuel, and return waste.
Moor and cast off vessels for arrivals, departures, and bathing procedures.
About You- Hold an AMSA certificate of competency STCW II/4 with relevant experience in the industry.
- Have a current AMSA medical certificate.
- Hold a current and valid driver's licence.
- Be an excellent communicator with proven ability to work effectively within a team and autonomously.
- Demonstrate the ability to adapt, deal with uncertainty, and remain calm in a changing environment.
- Have a keen eye for detail and a proactive focus on continually looking to improve processes.
