Early Childhood Practitioner Job

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as an Early Childhood Practitioner. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering support services to families and children with disabilities.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary liaison for families and children with disabilities, providing tailored support using the Key Worker model.
  • Deliver early intervention services to children aged 0-9 years on the NDIS through our 360 Kids program, focusing on developmental skills and therapies.
  • BUILD TRUSTED PARTNERSHIPS WITH FAMILIES TO DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT TAILORED GOALS AND THERAPY PLANS, PROMOTING COLLABORATION AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT.
  • Provide services in-home, in community settings (e.g. childcare centres), and at local clinics, ensuring flexibility and convenience for families.
  • Collaborate with a national team of professionals, including Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists, and Behaviour Support Practitioners, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
About You
  • A BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN EDUCATION, DISABILITY STUDIES, OR SOCIAL WORK OR ALLIED HEALTH IS REQUIRED.
  • At least 1 year experience in Early Intervention or as a Key Worker in the private or public sector is essential.
  • Experience with the NDIS, either as a support worker or in an educational capacity, is highly valued.
  • Registration with the relevant governing body is mandatory.
  • You have access to your own vehicle and hold a current driver's licence.
  • You have or willing to obtain a NDIS Workers Check and Working with Children Check.
