About This Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in providing exceptional patient care. As an After Hours Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing services to patients and their families during non-traditional hours.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess the physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs of patients and their families.
  • Provide intermittent skilled nursing services under the direction of the patient's physician.
  • Monitor and evaluate pain and symptoms, and provide information and assistance to patients and their families to manage those problems.
  • Serve as a liaison to the patient's physician(s) when needed, and provide information to the physician based on knowledge relating to the patient's needs.
  • Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
  • Refer patients and/or family members to other services when appropriate.
Requirements:
  • A valid Registered Nursing (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
  • Ability to handle stressful and constantly changing conditions, and make good professional decisions quickly.
