Senior Financial Claims Officer

Job Overview
This role involves managing a diverse portfolio of complex financial claims to deliver a premium experience. You will collaborate closely with experienced claims specialists to achieve timely and cost-effective outcomes.
Main Responsibilities:- Proactively manage a diverse portfolio of complex financial claims from initiation to resolution.
- Provide in-depth technical guidance on policy coverage, liability, quantum, strategy, and reserving.
- Engage and oversee external service providers, including legal services, to ensure seamless claim handling.
- Maintain accurate claim reserves in a timely manner.
- Develop advanced industry knowledge and contribute to the team's market profile through exceptional claims service.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 3-4 years' experience in financial lines or professional indemnity claims.
- Prior experience mentoring claims staff in technical claims roles.
- Tertiary qualifications in law, business, or insurance are highly desirable.
