Project Manager - Capital Works Infrastructure

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to coordinate the delivery of and reporting on capital works projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily capital works activities, addressing issues as they arise, and providing advice to senior project managers and directors on project performance.

The role requires experience in financial data analysis, program management, and asset management. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate projects according to whole-of-government capital works frameworks and financial management standards.
  • Provide detailed advice to government agencies and other stakeholders on capital works and facilities management issues.
  • Prepare financial, facilities, and capital works reports for leadership teams and external agencies.
  • Supervise daily capital works activities and address issues as they arise.
  • Assess risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in financial data analysis, program management, and asset management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of capital works management, legislation, policies, and procedures.
