Leading Financial Management in Infrastructure: A Senior Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on financial management for infrastructure projects and relevant legislations.
  • Manage capital project settlements and asset capitalization, ensuring compliance with financial policies.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Office to identify and mitigate risks in accounting processes.
  • Develop a robust financial management framework for infrastructure assets.
  • Analyze performance trends and provide accurate financial reporting.
  • Build strategic relationships with various teams and executives.

About You:

  • Proven expertise in infrastructure accounting and asset management.
  • Experience in capital settlements and project accruals in large organizations.
  • Knowledge of Accounting Standards (AASB) and Queensland Government financial policies.
  • Ability to interpret complex financial data and present insights to decision-makers.
