About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team at Kirinari Community Services in Albury/Wodonga. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to live independently and participate fully in their communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support to individuals with disabilities in their daily living activities, including personal care, domestic tasks, and community access.
  • Assist individuals to develop and maintain skills and interests, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with the support team to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for our customers.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Ability to work shift work, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, with significant availability.
  • Resilience, confidence, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to develop positive relationships with customers, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement.
  • Ability to use computers and learn a variety of software and programs.
