Job Summary

:

As a Project Director at Bechtel, you will be responsible for leading a team as a Project Manager to develop goals, milestones, priorities, metrics, and execution plans. You will ensure that customer feedback, compliance, and project performance are monitored, and safety and sustainability goals are integrated. Your innovative recommendations for high quality work will help ensure customer satisfaction and support new business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement project plans, including goals, milestones, and timelines.
  2. Lead a team of project managers and coordinators to ensure project deliverables are met.
  3. Monitor customer feedback and compliance, and make recommendations to improve project performance.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that safety and sustainability goals are integrated into project plans.
  5. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards.
  6. Provide coaching and guidance to team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs.
  7. Conduct performance evaluations and make recommendations for promotions and training.
  8. Develop and implement training programs to ensure that team members have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs.
  9. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience, or 14-17 years of relevant work experience.
  2. Proven leadership and project management skills.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
  7. Must have working rights in Australia without employer sponsorship.
