We are seeking a Project Director to join us on a 12-month contract to support new regulatory changes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reviewing and responding to relevant regulatory issues, providing advice and establishing processes when required. Determining project resourcing requirements and managing development and implementation of project artefacts on a day-to-day basis.
  • Working with cross-functional teams across RAC WA to determine solutions and an approach to meet business requirements and objectives. Designing and developing strategies and processes, in consultation with stakeholders, which will support the implementation of the project.
  • Controlling and managing the project schedule, scope, budget, issues, risks, and dependencies. Working with relevant departments to ensure plans can be carried out effectively and dependencies are resolved.
  • Proactively identifying risks to the delivery of project outcomes and developing and implementing mitigations required to ensure completion of the project within agreed timeframes and budget.
  • Developing and managing regular project status reporting and presentations for the project Steering Committee. Including recommendations to support effective decision-making by developing and maintaining strict project plans and reporting documentation as necessary to ensure timely communication and successful delivery of the project.
Requirements:
  • Able to effectively lead a project team and manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels in various forums.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing projects in an operational/service delivery environment is mandatory.
  • Process-re-engineering and business improvement experience is desirable.
  • Experience in waterfall and agile project methodologies is highly desirable.
  • Qualifications in project management, e.g., Prince2, Agile, MSP, is highly desirable.

Estimated salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum.
