Strategic Ports Engineering Leadership Opportunity

Seeking an experienced and skilled ports engineer practice lead to spearhead the development of comprehensive port projects. This role involves overseeing the creation of detailed plans, specifications, and schedules, as well as supervising structural analysis and design for marine and upland components.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive growth and expansion of the ports practice in the Southeast Region
  • Engage in continuous business development activities
  • Recruit, manage, and motivate a team of engineers
  • Perform and oversee structural analysis and design for marine and upland components
  • Lead the development of plans, specifications, and cost estimates for port projects
  • Apply knowledge of maritime codes and regulations
  • Mentor and guide a team of developing port and maritime engineers
  • Forge and leverage industry relationships to promote services and cross-sell across disciplines

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in analysis and design of port structures
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License in Australia
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
