About the Role- Develop safety protocols, monitor tools, and risk-mitigation strategies to ensure systems align with human values and operate securely in complex environments.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities in AI systems and design guardrails and validation mechanisms to ensure reliable outputs.
- Support robustness testing, bias detection, and performance monitoring to improve accuracy and reduce system drift.
- Investigate safety incidents, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions to ensure safe and responsible AI operations.
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Commercial experience in machine learning, deep learning, and AI development for 3-5 years.
- Solid understanding of AI safety principles including risk assessment and hazard identification.
- Familiarity with retrieval-based systems, reinforcement learning safety, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
