Volunteer Opportunity

Making a positive impact in someone's life can be incredibly rewarding. As a social visits volunteer, you will have the chance to form meaningful connections with an elderly lady living in her own home. This role involves visiting her fortnightly to share conversations about culture and traditions, creating a sense of belonging and reducing feelings of loneliness.

The work of our volunteers is vital in enhancing the lives of people cared for by us. By dedicating your time, you can contribute to improving quality of life and fostering a sense of community.

We are looking for individuals who can commit to regular visits, sharing their time and company with our clients. In return, you will gain valuable experience and develop new skills while making a real difference in someone's life.

For this role, we require:

  • You to be 18 years or older
  • A National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by us

We would appreciate it if you could discuss a suitable time during the week for a one hour visit between 9am and 4pm Monday to Sunday.
