Lead Psychiatrist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Psychiatrist to join our team in Central Queensland.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality psychiatry services to consumers of the Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Service and demonstrate clinical leadership for the Mental Health clinical team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver effective mental health care through collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide clinical guidance and support to junior staff members
- Develop and implement strategies to improve mental health outcomes for consumers
Requirements:
- MBBS or equivalent eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia
- Registration or eligibility for registration as a Specialist in Psychiatry with AHPRA
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP)
- Eligibility for accreditation as a RANZCP-approved supervisor
What We Offer:
- Total remuneration package of up to $528,432 p.a.
- Salary rate between $251,527 - $266,677 p.a.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
