Job Overview

This is a hands-on opportunity to work as a heavy equipment service technician. You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment, up to 10+ tonnes.

Our team is looking for an individual with strong mechanical skills and experience working with heavy diesel/large scale equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a trade qualification in Automotive, Mobile Plant Mechanic or Heavy Diesel Mechanic and excellent problem-solving skills.

As a service technician, you will work independently but also be part of a close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service, repair, and maintain equipment up to 10+ tonnes
  • Perform planned maintenance, inspections, and diagnostics
  • Complete overhauls, modifications, and new machine assembly
  • Troubleshoot faults and carry out repairs to industry standards
Requirements
  • Trade qualification - Automotive, Mobile Plant Mechanic or Heavy Diesel Mechanic
  • Experience working with heavy diesel/large scale equipment
  • Experience in fault-finding and repairing machinery
  • Build and maintain effective customer relationships
  • A team player who can also work independently
  • Desirable: Electrical and hydraulic experience
