Job SummaryWe're seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker to join our team in the Greendale region. As a Disability Support Specialist, you will provide high-quality support services to our clients, empowering them to lead fulfilling lives.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in supporting individuals with physical disabilities, including manual handling. You'll work collaboratively with our care teams to develop and implement individualised support plans that cater to each client's unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:- Providing personal care and assistance with daily living activities, such as showering, dressing, and meal preparation
- Assisting clients with domestic duties, including cleaning and laundry
- Supporting clients with mobility and transferring tasks, using appropriate manual handling techniques
- Encouraging clients to participate in community activities and events
- Collaborating with care teams to develop and implement individualised support plans
- Recording and reporting client progress and any concerns or issues that may arise
- Minimum 12 months' experience in a disability support role
- Strong understanding of disability support principles and practices
- Manual handling training and certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Full driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Ability to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
- Competitive hourly rate: $43.67 per hour (Monday to Friday, after induction)
