Employment Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate professional to join our team as an Employment Specialist. In this role, you will play a vital part in empowering individuals with disabilities to achieve their employment goals.

About the Role

In this rewarding position, you will work closely with participants to understand their strengths, interests, and career aspirations. You will use your expertise to provide personalized support, guidance, and feedback to help them overcome challenges and achieve success.

You will also be responsible for researching, developing, and maintaining projects that cater to the unique needs of our clients. This may involve collaborating with stakeholders, managing relationships, and ensuring effective communication at all levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with participants to identify and develop employability skills, personal development, and improved quality of life
  • Provide group-based and one-on-one supports using a strengths-based approach
  • Assist participants in achieving their employment goals by offering constructive feedback and guidance
  • Research, develop, and maintain projects that meet the needs of our clients
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including management and key partners

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current Australian Driver's Licence (P2 minimum)
  • Meet the current COVID-19 Vaccine requirement
  • Relevant DHS/NDIS checks and clearances
  • Current Manual Handling Certificate
  • Current Child Safe Environments Certificate
