We are seeking a Visual Communications Design Teacher to join our team at a Catholic, co-educational school in Melbourne's north western suburbs. Job Description

This is a full-time, fixed-term position commencing as soon as possible. The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching Visual Communications Design to students in Years 11 and 12, with a focus on developing their creative skills and fostering their passion for design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of senior students
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote academic excellence
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum resources and improve teaching practices
Requirements
  • A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Master of Teaching / Bachelor of Education / PGCE)
  • Victorian Institute of Teachers registration (or eligibility to gain)
  • A strong desire to teach senior students and actively engage them in the learning process
