Teaching Opportunity for VCE Visual Communication Design

About this role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled educator to teach VCE Visual Communication Design to Year 11 and 12 students in a well-resourced and supportive environment.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and learning, and the ability to deliver engaging lessons that cover key design concepts, skills, and assessments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Plan and deliver VCE Visual Communication curriculum in line with relevant standards, developing engaging lessons that meet the needs of all students.
  • Student Assessment and Feedback: Design and assess student work, providing timely, constructive feedback that helps students improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaboration and Professional Development: Participate in collaborative planning and professional development opportunities to stay current with design trends and practices.
  • Industry Integration: Integrate industry-standard software and technology into teaching, providing students with real-world learning experiences.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Completed relevant qualifications in education, including a valid and up-to-date VIT registration.
  • Experience: Previous experience in teaching VCE VCD in Australia/NZ is highly desirable.
  • Working Rights: Must have unrestricted working rights in Australia.
