Teaching Visual Communication Design

We are seeking an experienced Visual Communication Design teacher to join our school community. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and a passion for inspiring students to achieve their best.

About the Role

This is a full-time, fixed-term position commencing as soon as possible. The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching Visual Communication Design to Years 11 and 12 students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Visual Communication Design to Years 11 and 12 students
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to promote student learning
  • Assess and provide feedback on student work
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., Master of Teaching / Bachelor of Education / PGCE)
  • Victorian Institute of Teachers registration (or eligibility to gain)
  • Experience teaching senior students and actively engaging them in the learning process
  • Working Rights for Australia (or eligibility to gain), including Skilled Migrant Visa and possible Working Holiday Maker visa
