Senior Infrastructure Automation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing and enhancing production systems, with a focus on infrastructure, automation, security, and CI/CD pipelines.
This role involves working across the full technology stack, from infrastructure to deployment. You will be responsible for maintaining stable, secure, and high-performance production environments, as well as designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GoCD.
- Maintain stable, secure, and high-performance production environments
- Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure with a focus on security and scalability
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GoCD
- Automate infrastructure and deployments using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes
- Implement and manage monitoring and alerting solutions such as Icinga and ELK stack
- Script and develop tools using Python and Bash, supporting containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes
The ideal candidate will have:
- 3+ years of experience in fast-paced, agile Australian tech environments
- Strong expertise with AWS, including networking and VPC configurations
- Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes and Docker in production
- Proficiency in infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible, SaltStack, and Terraform
- Skilled in Python and Bash scripting
- Familiarity with ELK stack, Kafka, Apache Spark, and MongoDB is a plus
