We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Automation Specialist with expertise in infrastructure automation, cloud technologies, and system integration.
The successful candidate will design, implement, and maintain ICT systems supporting critical infrastructure projects such as tunnel automation and intelligent transport systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and implement on-premise virtualization environments using VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and related technologies.
- Plan, design, and integrate complex ICT systems, including hardware, software, and network components.
- Deploy, configure, test, and upgrade VMware virtualization solutions for optimal performance.
- Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions, mainly Nakivo Backup & Replication, ensuring data protection.
- Manage SAN/NAS storage solutions to support virtualization infrastructure.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation.
- Troubleshoot networking and ICT system issues effectively.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards like IEC 62443, implementing security controls.
- Use scripting and automation tools (PowerShell, Python, Ansible, Puppet) to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers.
Required qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 5+ years' experience in infrastructure systems, including VMware environments.
- Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and networking.
- Experience with backup solutions like Nakivo.
- Networking expertise (routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, VLANs).
- Experience with SAN/NAS storage solutions.
- Cybersecurity knowledge, including IEC 62443 standards.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Certifications such as VCP, MCSE, RHCE/RHCSA, CCNA/CCNP are preferred.
Additional involvement includes:
- Design and maintain VMware systems.
- Configure and troubleshoot networking infrastructure.
- Plan backup and disaster recovery.
- Automate infrastructure tasks.
- Test and verify ICT systems.
- Work with stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams.
