Senior Frontend Developer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join our team.

Luxury Escapes is a fast-growing travel company, with over 8 million members. We are constantly looking for talented individuals to contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional customer experiences through innovative software solutions.

As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design and develop software applications that meet business needs and drive results.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Applying industry best practices, such as agile methodologies, test-driven development, and continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).
  • Implementing and maintaining APIs to integrate with third-party services, including airlines, hotels, car rental companies, payment processors, and more.
  • Monitoring system performance and reliability, and proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure maximum uptime and customer satisfaction.
  • Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers through code reviews and other collaborative activities.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in JavaScript and its frameworks, including React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL, specifically PostgreSQL, for database management.
  • Familiarity with RESTful API design principles and implementation.
  • Experience in automated testing and continuous integration processes.
  • Knowledge and experience working with microservices architecture.
