Senior Product Designer Job Description

The Senior Product Designer will be responsible for leading the design vision for the user experience across all software touchpoints, ensuring a unified and intuitive interface.

Working closely with product managers, engineers, and customers, the designer will understand technical requirements and user needs, and translate them into clear interaction models and designs.

  • Develop and maintain a design system that promotes consistency, scalability, and cross-platform alignment.
  • Create prototypes to test and validate design decisions early and often with real users.
  • Partner with engineering to ensure high-quality implementation of designs and provide ongoing design support throughout the development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include defining design principles, creating high-fidelity prototypes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in Interaction Design, HCI, UX, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design and front-end development constraints.
  • Proficiency in design tools, such as Sketch, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent UX research practices and ability to analyze complex data sets.

Preferred qualifications include experience working with design systems, expertise in front-end development, and proficiency in programming languages like JavaScript and HTML/CSS.
